Jalan MH Thamrin - Sudirman Began to Close

The Jakarta Transportation Agency along with police began to close Jalan MH Thamrin until Sudirman due to Car Free Night which aims to celebrate the New Year's Eve celebrations.

It is applied gradually from Senayan Roundabout. We have closed them since 5 PM

In the field, a number of joint personnel have been deployed to the location to help motorists find alternative roads. They consist of Transportation Agency, Satpol PP and police.

1,581 Janitors Alerted During New Year's Eve

Control and Operational Division Head Edy Sufaat stated road closure is applied from the north to the south and vice versa starting from Harmoni Intersection until Senayan Roundabout.

"It is applied gradually from Senayan Roundabout. We have closed them since 5 PM," he told, Tuesday (12/31).

Even as many as 500 personnel also have been dispatched to some points to manage traffic flow.

For public transportation such as Transjakarta until now can still serve Jalan Sudirman until Thamrin.
